Euroclear announces the appointment of Michal Paprocki as Chief Information Officer (CIO) effective today.
Mr Paprocki was previously acting as interim Co CIO with Marc De Rycke. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Technology Officer for three years. He will be based in Brussels and will join the Euroclear Group Management Committee, reporting to Lieve Mostrey, Chief Executive Officer of the Euroclear group.
Before joining Euroclear in 2018 he was CEO of ING Tech Poland where he was responsible for the ING’s IT technology hub, managing full global IT delivery. He graduated with a postgraduate MBA Degree from Warsaw University of Technology.
Michal Paprocki will continue to progress Euroclear’s IT transformation which includes continuing to embrace new technologies to introduce greater agility into Euroclear’s working practices, reinforcing its resilient platform and integrating the business lines and IT more effectively across the organisation.
