Monex to apply for Prime Market listing on Tokyo Stock Exchange

Japanese online trading Monex Group, Inc (TYO:8698) has announced its plans concerning Tokyo Stock Exchange’s new market segments.

Monex says that it received the results of the initial assessment of its compliance with the listing standards of the new market segments from the TSE. The broker is in compliance with the listing standards of the “Prime Market.”

Based on these results, the Board of Directors of Monex has resolved in its meeting held today to select and apply for listing on the Prime Market which is scheduled to be introduced on April 4, 2022.

Henceforth, the company will proceed with the prescribed procedures related to the application for the selection of the new market segment in accordance with the schedule set forth by the TSE.
