FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that London based CFDs broker ETX Capital has continued its hiring spree following its acquisition late last year by Swiss fintech investor Guru Capital SA, adding Juan Amiguet to the newly created position as Head of Data.
Holding a PhD in meta-data propagation from the University of Twente, Juan Amiguet joins ETX Capital from Switzerland based authentication and identification company SICPA where he was a Senior Software Engineer. He also worked as a Data Scientist at monitoring solutions company Geosatis SA, and at analytics and AI technology provider Unit8.
Mr. Amiguet worked as a Technical Lead at Swissquote from 2015-2017, involved in technical evaluation, design, implementation, and integration of in-house and off-shore software development in Forex infrastructure.
Other recent hires by ETX Capital include risk director Nicolas Gavriel, technical analyst Alex Neale, marketing executive Kyriakos Paisanos, and Head of Research and Analysis Andrew Saks.
