Japanese FX, CFD and stock brokerage Rakuten Securities, a subsidiary of Internet services provider Rakuten Inc (TYO:4755), continues to expand its offering of trading instruments. Today, the broker announced it will add stocks of 100 US-listed companies to the lineup of trading instruments.

The list of new additions includes Grab Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ:GRAB), which operates Southeast Asia’s leading superapp “Grab”, and Sono Group NV (NASDAQ:SEV), a solar-powered electric vehicle manufacturer based in Germany.

The new instruments will become available to trade on December 20, 2021.

Rakuten Securities has been regularly expanding its offering of trading instruments. In October 2021, it added the stocks of 200 companies listed on US and Hong Kong exchanges to its offering.

The list of newly added US stocks includes Tyra Biosciences (TYRA), a biotechnology company targeting new pathways of acquired resistance in oncology with purpose-built drugs. The list of Hong Kong stocks includes Tam Jai International (02217), which operates Asian noodle specialty stores and fast casual restaurants, and Broncus Holding (02216), which is based in China and mainly conducts research and development, manufacturing and commercialization of medical devices.

In August, Rakuten added nearly 200 stocks of US-listed companies to its offering.
